Following an extensive renovation, The Cliffs Resort welcomes the community and travelers to the Central Coast to Marisol at The Cliffs to experience ocean side dining on the cliffs of Shell Beach. Enjoy a cozy table by the fireplace in the warmth of our dining room or dine al fresco on the outdoor patio overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

Marisol translates to the Sun and the Sea, and no where is this more evident than through the flavors of the food.  Marisol's menus have been developed as a marriage of California coastal cuisine and modern Latin flavors. Michael Wood, Chef de Cuisine, seeks out produce from the fields of local farmers, seafood fresh off the boats of local fisherman, and naturally raised meats and poultry. Featuring an abundance of seafood, as well as prime steaks, pork chops and lamb, all of Marisol's dishes are prepared with a soulful touch - be it the rustic Short Ribs of Beef with Cabrales Blue Cheese and Rioja Sauce, the slow braised Molé Duck Tamales or Marisol's signature Ceviche Trio of Albacore Tuna, Scallops and Lobster. 

We still feature our Happy Hour weekdays, as well as an extensive wine list.

What better way to experience our new menu than to take part in our Marisol Midweek Dinner Package.  Starting at $199 per night, this package includes your upgraded guestroom, a $60 dinner credit for Marisol, to sample our exciting new culinary offerings, and to end the evening, a sumptuous dessert delivered to your room.

If you're looking for something a little out of the ordinary, join us for our Dancing in the Moonlight Package.  Each full moon this year, we will be offering dance lessons under the full moon.  Join us for the dancing, or reserve a package which includes cheese and champagne delivered to your oceanfront suite, the poolside dancing  with hot chocolate and hot toddies, and a Celestial Soak in your whirlpool bath created by our Bath Sommelier.  This package starts at $269 plus tax.
